CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS
Tech Arts has two vinyl cutters:
- They will be in the electronics room, under the cacti, or in the wearables workroom.
- Vinyl and cutting mats are in the drawer labeled VINYL CUTTER midway along the wall farthest from the metal shop.
Software Installation:
- The software Silhouette Studio is free and can be downloaded here.
- We also have detailed step-by step installation instructions.
Exporting and Cutting a Design:
- This detailed tutorial shows you how to export a file from Rhino and open and cut it on the Silhouette.
- If you already have a JPEG or DXF image, you can skip to section 3 of the tutorial.
