Recently, high school students from around the Bay Area, have launched an organization called The SASHA (Students Against Sexual Harassment & Assault) Initiative which is a student-run organization dedicated to eradicating all forms of sexual violence through education, fundraising, youth/community empowerment, and bold progressive activism.
They are having a Youth-Empowerment Fundraising Gala on March 30 from 6PM-9PM at Manny’s in San Francisco. The gala will feature performances by student musicians, interviews with youth activists from around the Bay Area, raffles, fundraising, and overall will be an opportunity to support young people advocating for justice in their greater communities.
