Ages 14–18 only | Limited to 20 students | Students are encouraged to attend the screening of Virus Tropical prior to the workshop (separate ticket required). This hands-on workshop for teens follows the screening of the film Virus Tropical, based on the graphic memoir by Colombian-Ecuadorian cartoonist Powerpaola, who will introduce students to the work of several cartoonists and guide them through the process of making their own autobiographical cartoon through a series of writing, drawing, and inking exercises.
