The Awards are a yearly opportunity honoring up to 5 Jewish-identified teens from California and up to 10 from the rest of the country with $36,000 each to support their leadership and efforts to repair the world. Applicants must demonstrate leadership via a specific community service project that is already underway. Examples of past recipients’ work can be found on our website.
Teens may either apply directly, or be nominated by a teacher, rabbi, counselor or other member of their community who can speak to their leadership skills and the value of their project. The application process can only be completed via our website and there is no fee to apply or nominate. The nominations deadline is December 18, 2018. All applications must be complete by January 8, 2019 in order to be considered for the 2019 Awards.
