Volunteer Opportunity: Eggstravaganza, Mar. 31

Sign up here!

It’s that time of year again and we need volunteers to support our annual Eggstravaganza event on Saturday, March 31 at Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park.  This family-friendly event features egg hunts, carnival rides, games, live entertainment, kids activities and a heated barbecue competition between Rec and Park, SF Police and SF Fire. We wil need support in most, if not all, of those areas.

Things to consider when you register to volunteer:

  • We have two times slots to choose from:One AM shift 10:30-1:30 and PM Shift from 12:30 to 3:30. If you would like to volunteer for the entire event, please select one AM option and PM option.
  • If you are registering for a group, please include anticipated total number when prompted and be ready to email the list of names for each member of your group to maegan.tell@sfgov.org
  • DO NOT pick two volunteer slots in the same time shift for the sake fo having options. This will limit other potential volunteers from registering to volunteer with us. Be sure of what you want and select on slot per shift. (Ok for group sign-ups under one leader but follow-up with e-mailing the list of names and shifts you selected to the e-mail above.)
  • Volunteers must be responsible, enthusiastic, work well with others, take initiative, great communicators, and must be at least 14 years of age.
  • Minors under 18 must get parental consent to volunteer at our events.
  • Placements may change.

Thanks for choosing to volunteer with us!
