The objective of the CHORI/UC Berkeley Stem Cell & Developmental Biology
Summer Research Program is to provide summer research training opportunities for
four High School students. The goal is to provide research opportunities for high
school students from disadvantaged backgrounds (as defined on the application). The
Program provides the students with a research training experience to stimulate interest
in pursuing a career in stem cell and developmental biology research in a friendly
and nurturing environment.
