This January and February, we are so excited to bring back our one-of-a-kind Pre-Med Suture and Surgical Lab and introduce our groundbreaking IV + Injection Workshop! We would love for students to join us as they continue to pursue their passion for science, healthcare, and medicine in 2015!

Suture and Surgical Lab: January 17th or February 14th 2015

Join other teens passionate about exploring careers in the medical field for a fun lab that will teach you the basics of surgery and how to suture a wound. Get the opportunity to learn valuable medical skills related to surgical professions. We have recently extended this class to include the steps healthcare professionals use to clean and disinfect wounds prior to surgery and suturing. To learn more about this class, including time, location, and registration deadlines, please review attached brochure.

IV + Injection Workshop: January 31st or February 21st 2015

This workshop is a truly one-of-a-kind medical experience for teens that will teach each participant the basics of inserting and starting an IV, administering injections, collecting venous blood samples, and much more! Whether you are interested in nursing and dermatology or anesthesia and surgery as possible career paths, this lab will allow you to practice and perfect the skills these professions use every day! You will learn first-hand how healthcare professionals deliver life-saving medicine in hospitals and clinics using IV’s and injections.
