JFCS YouthFirst Summer Internship

Jewish Family and Children’s Services’

YouthFirst Program offers paid summer internships for qualified rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Our internship programs provide opportunities for high school students to gain valuable experience working either at JFCS or in local businesses and organizations in locations throughout the Bay Area.

The 2014 Internship program will run from Monday, June 23 through Friday, August 1, 2014. Priority is given to students who are able to participate in all six weeks of the program. Students will work for 20 hours a week over the course of the 6 weeks, earning $10.74/hour. Additionally, students attend a weekly workshop withYouthFirst staff to learn about resume writing, informational interviewing, conflict resolution, public speaking, and additional relevant topics.
