This is a great tip sheet on how to share student data effectively.

The traditional ways that educators have shared student data with families—through quarterly report cards and during brief conferences—are valuable means of updating parents on their child’s progress, but these data-sharing opportunities don’t occur frequently enough to promote ongoing school–family communication and information sharing.
