HandsOn Bay Area is a two-week, service-learning, summer program for teens, HandsOn Tomorrow! Participants of this award-winning program are led through an innovative service-based curriculum which includes volunteering at five carefully selected non-profits, and culminates in a volunteer project designed and led by the youth.
This year’s program has six cohorts located in Walnut Creek, San Mateo, San Jose, San Rafael, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. Applications are now live, and will remain open until each cohort is full. There is a fee for the program, and there are plenty of needs-based scholarships still available. For more information and to apply, please check out the HandsOn Tomorrow website.
