Hyphen-Hacks is a free 24-hour hackathon that will be held at Lick-Wilmerding High School on October 20-21, 2018 for high school students from around the Bay Area with diverse backgrounds and skill levels. We hope to create a space where all students are inspired to learn new skills while collaborating on new inventions. No prior experience is required to attend and students are not required to attend the whole hackathon, though we encourage students to take full advantage of this experience. Additionally, we have sponsors such as Google Store and Cloudera providing over $7000 worth of prizes. Finally, mentors from great tech companies and tech experience will be at the hackathon to assist students to give them the best experience possible.
To apply to Hyphen-Hacks, please visit our website at hyphen-hacks.com, and if you have any questions, please email us at hackathon@lwhs.org.
