The School for Ethics and Global Leadership provides students with a unique curriculum emphasizing ethical thinking skills, leadership development, and international affairs. Distinguished guests from across the political spectrum regularly visit the school to speak with students. Students live in dorms on Capitol Hill and have their classes in a school-owned building right on Dupont Circle, in the thick of Embassy Row. What is additionally fantastic about SEGL is that students from rigorous academic environments can take advantage of this unique experience without diverting from their regular high school curriculum.
On January 9th, 2018 there will be an information session on the at a family’s home in San Francisco where the Associate Dean of Admission will be speaking. It will be a great opportunity for more students and families to learn about the program. It has been recommended that 9th graders and their families attend. While Junior year seems far off, the application is long and due in February, so it’s helpful to start learning about the program earlier rather than later.
