Big Book Sale Volunteers Needed, September 21–25

The Friends os SF Public Library is a non-profit dedicated to supporting the San Francisco Public Libraries funding diverse programs, resources and services beyond those supported by the city, thereby enriching and enhancing the public library system in San Francisco. Our annual sale is the largest on the West Coast, and over 1000 volunteers help us raise $150,000 for the San Francisco Public Library in just 5 days!! Your volunteer hours contribute to this cause.

Where do I go?: Meet at Fort Mason at the Festival Pavilion building, located at 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94123

Will I get fed?: Snacks and water are plentiful, but we do not provide lunch outside of set up and breakdown days

Who is the Onsite Contact that day?: Volunteer Manager, Brenda Salguero, but check in at the Volunteer Check in table when you arrive

Can I bring my Parent or Guardian?: Yes, they are also welcome to volunteer or shop

Do I need a waiver form?: Yes, have your parent or guardian sign your waiver form and email your form to brenda.salguero@friendssfpl.org or turn it in when you start your shift. You cannot volunteer without this form!
