It’s that time of the year again! The SF YouthWorks summer session application is now available. They plan to hire 300 high school youth to work as interns in city government offices, libraries and recreation facilities. YouthWorks interns will work up to 20 hours per week from early June through early August and will be paid $12.25 per hour, with paid rate increasing to $13.00 per hour on July 1, 2016
Applicants must be entering the 11th or 12th grade, live in San Francisco, have an interest in exploring a career in government, and be able to work at least 16 hours per week. Youth gain important work experience while learning about careers in public service.
