The Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF) is hosting its 7th annual Youth Advocacy Day on March 17th 2016. Youth Advocacy Day (YAD) is an opportunity for San Francisco youth to have an open dialogue with their elected officials about issues that directly affect their communities. YAD brings over 200 high school students into City Hall to participate in hands-on civic engagement. Youth speak directly to their elected city officials through panel discussions and workshops. Citywide youth activism and advocacy are showcased during YAD through presentations and a Community Resource Fair.
