This year’s Day of Learning will focus on children who became refugees as a result of the Holocaust and how their experiences are echoed by millions of children around the world today.
All Northern California students (grades 8 – 12) and teachers are invited to this annual, free conference. Come learn from preeminent educators and Holocaust survivors. Gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust and patterns of genocide in order to inspire your own moral courage and social responsibility for the future. 18 workshops include survivors’ eyewitness testimonies of the Holocaust or a genocide.
WHEN: Sunday, March 20, 12:00 – 5:00 pm
