Join Maker Faire in launching the future of environmental awareness!
It’s that time of year again, robots are clicking, cardboard animals are emerging from hibernation, and all the greatest of the Maker Movement are getting excited for MAKER FAIRE, the greatest show (and tell) on earth!
This May 16th, 17th and 18th, you can join with the Green Travelers to educate the audience of Maker Faire about environmental sustainability. No experience necessary to sign up, we’ll train you to be expert zero-waste educators!
When: May 16th, 17th & 18th
Where: San Mateo Event Center, 2495 S. Delaware St. San Mateo, CA 94403
What: Encouraging and educating on composting, recycling, and teaching people to “think before they throw” at our recycling stations. Volunteers will be on their feet and outdoors for a full shift.
Why: Free entry to Maker Faire! Complete training course on zero-waste provided.

You must be at least 18 year old to participate alone.
If you are younger than 18 years old, and older than 16 years old, you can participate alone, but must have an additional permission slip submitted BY YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN.
If you are younger than 16, and older than 13, you must have a PARENT/GUARDIAN ONSITE.
If you are under 13 years old, we are unable to have you participate as a Traveler.
