This June join Gateway Mountain Center for an intensive five day science program. You will work on a long term research project done in collaboration with the UC Davis Center for Watershed Science as well as develop and execute your own project. There will still be time for out door adventures such as hiking, swimming in alpine lakes and some other water adventures. This program is taught and run by researchers and educators: Megan Seifert, PhD and Spencer Eusden. It is a great way to prepare for upper level high school and college science classes, to learn more about the Sierra and the watersheds, have great outdoor adventures, make memories to last a lifetime, and work on leadership skills while pushing mental and physical boundaries. All that while having the unique opportunity to learn how to develop, execute and present a research project.
