MoonLight JR! Summer Conservatory
An advanced two-week summer program for middle and high-school students, MoonLight JR! will expose enrollees to every facet of a theatrical musical production. Here too, mornings are spent in rehearsal and afternoons are filled with building sets, props and costumes, but students will be much more engaged technically. Music theory and song interpretation, as well as motivated acting technique, and more complex dance choreography will all be put to use as the students rehearse and produce Schoolhouse Rock, Jr., the fun, nostalgic, and still hip show based on the educational cartoon shorts popular in the 1970s. This high-energy, rock and pop theatre extravaganza ends with two performances on the final Saturday and the requisite party!
