Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA)
Five week Academy from June 12 – July 18
The California Air Quality Resources Board, Greenaction for Health and Environmental Justice, and community partners will collaborate to train youth on air quality issues in Bayview Hunters Point, build air monitors, and learn how to be environmental justice advocates for the community.
The youth program includes learning about the IVAN network, building air quality monitors, community and peer to peer presentations, and facilitating an EJ task force meeting.
