In the Kairos Theater, Dramatizing Better Neighborhood Project we will be using interactive theater (Theater of the Oppressed & Playback Theater) to highlight neighborhood issues, explore solutions, and generate ideas for city planning and policy. We’ll also be looking at what it’s like to work for positive change from inside as city workers and working to bridge gaps in understanding.
If you would like to build solidarity and explore solutions to local issues in fun and creative ways I hope you’ll join us for one of the two kickoff free theater workshops and the 10 workshop series.
No experience is necessary and the program is free thanks to funding from the Excelsior Collaborative.
Bilingual speakers (Tagalog, Spanish, Cantonese, and others) welcome!
Repeat: No performance experience necessary.
