Gooddler Social Innovation Youth Incubator, an initiative of the Gooddler Foundation hosted in partnership with the Institute for Evolutionary Leadership, helps youth explore what it takes to redesign entire social realities for a better world. Our unique programs put social entrepreneurship in a larger context and reveal often overlooked possibilities to address systemic root causes of local and global issues.
This summer we ran a 10-week pilot program that was a sound success. According to our post-program survey, the median score that indicates perceived value of the program for personal and professional development was 9.5 out of 10 (extremely valuable). The majority of the participants appreciated how this program helped them learn about social entrepreneurship and systemic change, better understand their strengths, articulate who they are and what they want to do, have a support structure that kept them on track, get out of their comfort zone, and have fun in the process. You can learn more about this pilot program here.
Our 2018-19 Fall/Winter Incubator will take place from October 2018 to May 2019. It will be an inclusive, advanced version of the above mentioned program. After 6 months of training, selected projects will be presented to a panel of investors at the Silicon Valley Open Doors Conference, a prominent Bay Area tech investment conference and/or at the Evolutionary Future Challenge, an innovative forum for systemic change initiatives. The rest of the cohort will be invited to attend both events and mingle with investors, thought leaders, and fellow change makers.
The program starts with young participants attending Gooddler Social Innovation Youth Summit, an event co-hosted with the United Nations agencies. The Gooddler Social Impact Youth Summit is a vibrant forum for university and high school student leaders who are interested in global development to learn, challenge, grow, and connect with a global community of changemakers. At the event selected teams of young entrepreneurs from around the globe will present projects that aim to address issues of local communities.
