Join the San Francisco Rose Society and the Golden Gate Rose Society at our annual Mother’s Day Rose Show at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. Exhibitors show their judged and award-winning garden roses starting at 12:30pm until 4:00pm.
The visiting public will have an opportunity to view the many types of roses, from hybrid teas, grandifloras, miniatures, David Austin roses, to old garden roses from the 19th Century. There will be rose arrangements and a rose photography show/competition. Show rose bouquets will be available for a donation to the SFRS after the show closes.
Open to the family — bring your moms, cameras, questions, and love of beautiful flowers. We will be selling our book, “Growing Roses in a Maritime Climate,” specifically tailored to meet the needs of roses growing in San Francisco. The Hall of Flowers is located at the entry of 9th Avenue at Lincoln Way in Golden Gate Park.
Volunteers are needed for the roles posted below. If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Maryanne Razzo at 415-656-4346 or mvrazzo@sonic.net.
