Stanford Women in Business’ The Young Women’s Leadership Summit: January 27, 2018

Note, the registration link for this summit is not yet live. It will open in early 2018.

The Young Women’s Leadership Summit, formerly known as Winter Conference, is our annual event for female high school students.  The Summit aims to introduce attendees to a variety of disciplines within business, from nonprofit to consulting to finance. This year, our conference will focus on the themes of entrepreneurship and technology. Students will have the opportunity to hear from leading businesswomen, as well as gain hands-on experience through workshops on skills such as design thinking and negotiation.

The Summit is a great opportunity for high school girls to interact with SWIB members, business leaders, and other motivated young women.

Students will have the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers including Sarah Dubbeldam, editor, founder, and author of Darling Magazine, Gina Bianchini, CEO of Mighty Networks and CEO of Ning, and various Stanford student entrepreneurs. Additionally, students will engage in workshops throughout the day to learn professional development skills such as pitching and self-branding. Summit will also serve as a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about a specific business-related area of interest, such as finance, marketing, or philanthropy.
