Serve on Harvard’s Making Caring Common Project Advisory Board, Due Sept 4

The Making Caring Common project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education is forming a Youth Advisory Board!  We are looking for young people ages 13-18 who are committed to making their schools and communities more caring and respectful.  Members will share their thoughts about issues that matter to them, participate in projects that are starting, and outreach to their networks to get more young people involved.  We are particularly interested in young people who are not typically identified as leaders in their schools, those who may be socially marginalized, and those who represent minority groups within the school community.

There’s no in person meeting time, but parental permission will be required.  After completing a year of service, members will get a certificate of participation from Harvard and a gift card (or two.)  More information and an application form can be found here.  Nominations are open until September 4, 2015.  We will reach out to nominees (and their parents) with an invitation to apply.

Please reach out with any questions to luba_feigenberg@gse.harvard.edu.
