In this Playshop for 9th-12th graders, we will work with Noisebridge co-founder Mitch Altman to hack together electronics using the Arduino programmable electronics kit. We’ll create our own sensors that can detect temperature, movement, humidity and more. And we’ll learn how scientists use devices like these to study and understand the natural world better.
The Academy will provide basic Arduino kits and electronics for you to experiment with during the playshop. While you cannot take our Arduino kits home with you, we’ll provide you with information on where you can purchase your own. If you already have your own Arduino, feel free to bring it along.
