The students live with homestay families, attend morning French lessons in the morning, and participate in many academic and cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings, such as workshops on French literature, culture and conversation, tutorials on French grammar, French cuisine, film and photography, etc. The teaching method emphasizes active, experiential learning, interaction with native speakers, authentic language and cultural immersion. The recreational program includes excursions to local museums, day trips to many destinations on the French Riviera, meetings with local French youth, athletic activities, and more.
The scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis to those students who demonstrate serious interest and academic achievement in the area of French language and culture. The applications must be received by April 1, 2014.
