Friends of the San Francisco Public Library’s 4th Annual Spring Book Sale is just around the corner – and volunteer registration is now open! It will be held at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion in San Francisco. The sale will be open to the public April 16-20, 2014, but we need volunteers April 14-21.
We need hundreds of volunteers to help set up tables and books, stock tables, collapse and stack boxes, cashier, help in the kitchen area, pack up, and sign-in other volunteers. We are now utilizing a volunteer website that gives our volunteers more flexibility and control. Volunteers can view the entire shift schedule for the Spring Book Sale at http://prestogem.com/vo/friendssfpl/. To sign up for shifts, each volunteer will need to register and then sign up for their selected shifts (please see attached instructions and a copy of the shift schedule). Students who have previously registered, can sign-in, and then sign-up for shifts.
