Galileo High School, San Francisco
At the Day of Learning, students and educators from all public and private schools throughout California are invited to gain a deeper understanding about the Holocaust and patterns of genocide in order to inspire moral courage and social responsibility in the future. Each workshop includes a survivor’s eyewitness testimony of the Holocaust or genocide. In 2013 over 600 students and teachers participated from 101 different schools.
Registration for students (grades 8-12) and educators begins in mid-February.
