Goblin Jamboree Fundraiser

The Goblin Jamboree fundraiser is one of the biggest events of the year and the Bay Area Discovery Museum needs your help!

This fall, the Discovery Council – the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s all-volunteer fundraising auxiliary – will hold its Annual Goblin Jamboree on October 19th and 20th.  This much-anticipated Halloween festival, now a Bay Area tradition, each year welcomes close to 5,000 people to our campus, transformed into a “Spooktacular and Faboolous” Halloween carnival.  Clad in costumes, children enjoy train rides, live performers, games, activities, a haunted house, pumpkin patch, petting zoo and more!  In addition to being a terrific celebration for the community, this event is a major fundraiser for the museum: all proceeds benefit the Museum’s educational programs, exhibitions and community outreach programs.

Volunteers will be asked to run the games and activities, and assist with rides and events. They may be asked to work concessions. The games and activities vary from bowling, face painting, arts & crafts, to witches school activities. There is no training required.
