The California YMCA Youth and Government division offers the Model Legislature & Court program for 9th-12th grade students from September through February. The program is designed to foster civic engagement among youth; however, delegates will also gain and practice valuable skills such as community advocacy, public speaking, leadership, and networking while learning about the daily operations of the California State Government and the United Nations.
