LOOP Abroad provides premier summer travel programs for high school students. This summer, our “Plight of the Thai Elephant” program will return to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We will immerse ourselves in Thai culture, volunteer with rescued elephants, and discover the wildlife of Southeast Asia.
Our four-week program gives students a chance to learn how conservation really works. Volunteering at the Elephant Nature Park for a week is our central case study on conservation efforts that make a change. And when we live with the hilltribe and help reintroduce elephants into the wild, we become part of that movement.
Amid conversation projects, we’ll trek in the jungle, zipline through the rainforest, go on a meditation retreat, and see Thailand from every angle. Will you be with us?
