YouthFirst offers internships during the summer for exceptional rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Our internship programs are terrific opportunities for high school students to gain valuable experience working in various JFCS departments and in the San Francisco Bay Area community.
The Summer Internship will run from Monday, June 24 – Friday, August 2, 2013 – priority is given to students who will be present for all six weeks of the program. Students will work for 20 hours a week over the course of the 6 week program, earning $10.55/hour. Additionally, students attend a weekly 3-hour workshop with YouthFirst staff to learn about resume writing, conflict resolution, public speaking, and additional relevant topics.
We highly suggest that students interested in the internship attend one of the Career Nights (see below) – you will learn more about the program and meet prospective supervisors.
