The Teen Advocates for Science Communication (aka TASC Force) is seeking students for our fall program. The TASC Force offers high school student the opportunity to volunteer on the museum floor with other youth by creating dynamic presentations for the public. Youth create fun and energetic ways to enhance museum visitors’ experiences. Our TASC youth developed such presentations as flash mobs, pop-ups and fashion collections. It is also a wonderful way to see some of the behind the scenes efforts of museum staff.

Our next TASC program starts October 20th. Youth volunteer on Saturdays for 3 hour shifts (morning or afternoon spots available). We ask that students participate in a minimum of 8 out of 10 possible Saturdays between October 20th and mid-January.If you are interested in this position, please fill out our online application. Applications are due by October 15th at noon. Interviews will be held from 5-6 pm on Tuesday, October 16th at the museum. Once you have submitted an application, directions and more information about interview will be emailed to you.
