The School of Engineering at Santa Clara is pleased to announce its 23rd Annual Summer Engineering Seminar (SES). This special summer experience is for high school students who may be curious about engineering. The program is designed to acquaint participants with the engineering profession, the academic expectations of college, and the nature of life at a university. Two sessions will be held during the summer of 2012.
Session 1: July 29 – August 2, 2012
Session 2: August 5 – August 9, 2012
Who is Eligible?
Students are eligible to participate in SES if they have completed their sophomore or junior year of high school by July 1, 2012 and are interested in exploring the field of engineering and its various disciplines. This program is introductory in nature and students who have little to no exposure to engineering are preferred. Women and other underrepresented groups in the field of engineering are highly encouraged to apply. Those entering their senior year in fall 2012 are given first priority.
