13th Annual Black Youth Empowerment Conference – Stanford University

This event is the Black Student Union’s 13th Annual Black Youth Empowerment Conference and the theme is The World Has Your Name On It. It is a conference that brings over 400 students and parents from around the country and state to Stanford to learn about college admissions information, black identity, and professionalism in an academic and job setting. The students spend a day on campus hearing from empowering speakers, attending dynamic workshops, and enjoying performances by various Stanford groups.
