CiS is a year-round, multi-year, work-based, science education and youth development program targeting young people from groups typically under-represented in the sciences. The program is a paid internship which provides opportunities for interns to explore, explain and protect the natural world both inside and outside of the museum, acquire transferable skills and confidence through authentic work experiences in a respectful atmosphere, and set goals for educational and career paths.
